Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY) and the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), saw Collins's basketball squad hold off Grant County by a tally of 46-42.
With the victory, Collins improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY) to confront the Bears in a District 30 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Spencer County won 75-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY)
Next up, the Braves confront the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Grant County will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 84-82 league loss to Boone County (Florence, KY).
