Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA), 64-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Compton upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Tarbabes travel to Claremont (Claremont, CA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Claremont lost 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against California (Whittier, CA)

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) in a Ocean bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Morningside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Culver City (Culver City, CA).
