The Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes basketball team (Eau Claire, WI), was nudged 73-71 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN)
The Huskies now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northfield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16. Owatonna will battle a Raiders team coming off a 68-59 league loss to Austin (Austin, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
The Old Abes (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI). The Riverhawks come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record.
