Far Rockaway Seahorses (Far Rockaway, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Francis Lewis Patriots (Fresh Meadows, NY), 46-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Far Rockaway upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Seahorses host Cardozo (Bayside, NY) to play the Judges in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Judges go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Cardozo won 72-54 in their recent non-league bout against Wagner (Staten Island, NY)

Next up, the Patriots play the Martin Falcons (Jamaica, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Francis Lewis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 78-54 non-league loss to Queens Teaching (Bellerose, NY).
