    • Ohio High School Basketball - South Webster thwarts Federal Hocking

    January 13, 2024: Stewart, OH 45778

    The South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) basketball knocked off the host Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH), 63-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

    The Jeeps (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH). The Senators go into the Southern Ohio III test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Portsmouth West went down by Minford (Minford, OH), 54-52, in a league test.

    The Lancers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Vinton County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Federal Hocking will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 71-33 league win over Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.
