California High School Basketball - Firebaugh overwhelmed by Torres

The Torres Toros basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Firebaugh Eagles to 44 in the Toros non-league victory on Saturday.
The Toros now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a North Yosemite contest on Tuesday, January 16. Torres will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-60 non-league win over Liberty (Bakersfield, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-4.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mendota (Mendota, CA). The Aztecs come into the West Sierra contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Mendota triumphed over Fowler (Fowler, CA), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
