The Tech Panthers basketball team (Newark, NJ), was routed 64-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ)
The Ridgers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barringer for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16. Glen Ridge will battle a Blue Bears team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Blue Bears record now stands at 3-5.
The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newark Collegiate Academy (Newark, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Newark Collegiate Academy trounced Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 77-33, in a non-league battle.
