Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenbard North upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to clash with the Ironmen in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Ironmen go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Normal Community lost 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Metea Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The E-Rabs go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 64-62 non-league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL).
