The Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 60-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chargers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Shabazz (Newark, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Shabazz went down by West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 66-61, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Hillside will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Montgomery (Skillman, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
