In Saturday's non-league outing, the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) basketball squad edged the host Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA), by a count of 59-54.
The Warhorses (23-3) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Patriots go into the 4A District 2 outing with a 16-8 record.
The Raiders now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they host North DeSoto for a 4A District 1 outing on Friday, January 19.
