Miller City Wildcats (Miller City, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lincolnview Lancers (Van Wert, OH), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller City upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Ottoville (Ottoville, OH) to clash with the Big Green in a Putnam County bout on Friday, January 19. The Big Green go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Ottoville lost 63-40 in their recent league bout against Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Lincolnview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Leipsic (Leipsic, OH).
