In Saturday's non-league outing, the Maynard Tigers (Maynard, AR) basketball squad nipped the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), by a margin of 52-47.

The Tigers (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR). The Falcons go into the 1A Region 3 outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Crowley's Ridge Academy got by Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR), 64-57, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Mammoth Spring for a 1A Region 3 outing on Monday, January 15. Ridgefield Christian will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Bears record now stands at 19-6.
