The Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) basketball nipped the host South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ), 62-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Manville (Manville, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Manville was tipped by Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ), 69-39, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Koinonia Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. South Hunterdon will encounter a squad coming off a 68-41 non-league loss to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The record now stands at 1-10.
