Maryland High School Basketball - New Town tipped by Trinity

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Trinity Shamrocks basketball team scored a tight 76-73 triumph over the New Town .

In their next game, the Shamrocks meet the Boiling Springs Bubblers (Boiling Springs, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Capital match, on Wednesday, January 17. Trinity will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Bubblers enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 64-54 league win over Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA).

With the defeat, New Town moves to 4-10 on the year. The travel to Roosevelt (Washington, DC) to meet the Roughriders in a non-league match on Saturday, January 13. The Roughriders enter the match with a record of 11-5. Roosevelt lost 75-31 in their recent league match against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC)
