The Paul VI Panthers ran past the visiting St. John Bosco Braves basketball team by a final score of 71-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 15. Paul VI will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Explorers enter the game with a 15-4 record after their 81-62 non-league win over Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY).

With the defeat, St. John Bosco moves to 18-4 on the year. The Braves travel to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA) to face the Lancers in a Trinity game on Wednesday, January 17. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 9-9. Orange Lutheran won 59-56 in their recent league game against Servite (Anaheim, CA)
