New Jersey High School Basketball - Pope John XXIII ripped by Pioneer Academy

The Pioneer Academy Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Pope John XXIII to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Pioneer Academy will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Union (Union, NJ). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-7.
The (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, West Morris Central triumphed over Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ), 61-41, in a league contest.
