Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 87-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Raceland upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Rams host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to play the Musketeers in a District 63 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Musketeers go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Greenup County won 66-35 in their recent non-league bout against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)

Next up, the Indians play the Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) in a Southern Ohio III bout, on Friday, January 19. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 58-46 league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH).
