Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) and the visiting St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings (Columbus, GA), saw Sandy Creek's basketball squad hold off St. Anne-Pacelli by a tally of 73-66.

With the victory, Sandy Creek improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Flint Hill lost 60-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 19. St. Anne-Pacelli will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
