The Southwestern Spartans basketball team (Shelbyville, IN), was toppled 55-43 in Saturday's league battle with the host South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN)
The Cougars now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scottsburg for a non-league battle on Friday, January 19. South Decatur will confront a Warriors team coming off a 77-67 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 11-4.
The Spartans (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN). The Lancers come into the Mid-Hoosier battle with a 6-7 record.
