The Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ), 74-65 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Angels (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record.
The Tigers now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Teaneck for a Big North - National outing on Tuesday, January 16. Tenafly will clash with a Highwaymen squad coming off a 55-40 non-league loss to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 12-3.
