The Teays Valley Vikings basketball team (Ashville, OH), was nudged 45-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH)
The Knights now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walsh Jesuit for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 17. Archbishop Hoban will confront a Warriors team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Whitmer (Toledo, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Mid-State - Buckeye battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Bloom-Carroll edged Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH), 45-37, in a league battle.
