Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 41-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Los Alamos upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Robertson won 48-24 in their recent non-league bout against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Tigers play the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 47-32 non-league loss to Grants (Grants, NM).
