With the victory, Boyd County upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-0. Franklin-Simpson won 49-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)

Next up, the Rebels play the Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) in a District 45 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Boyle County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Admirals come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 60-48 league loss to Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY).
