Georgia High School Basketball - River Ridge nips Buford

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the host Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), saw River Ridge's basketball squad hold off Buford by a tally of 74-67.
With the victory, River Ridge improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Creekview (Canton, GA) to play the Grizzlies in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.
Next up, the Wolves play the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Buford will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 54-45 non-league loss to Central (Macon, GA).
