The East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), 50-16 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Montclair (Montclair, NJ). The Mounties go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Montclair walloped Orange (Orange, NJ), 53-25, in a non-league test.
The Blue Knights now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Side for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Irvington will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 58-23 non-league loss to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ). The Roughriders record now stands at 0-7.
