The Eastern Eagles basketball team (Reedsville, OH), was routed 65-14 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Minford Falcons (Minford, OH)
The Falcons now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheelersburg for a Southern Ohio III battle on Monday, January 15. Minford will battle a Pirates team coming off a 58-35 non-league loss to Martin County (Inez, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.
The Eagles (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Albany, OH). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Alexander was routed by River Valley (Bidwell, OH), 51-35, in a league battle.
