Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC), 55-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eau Claire upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Keenan (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Raiders in a AA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Keenan won 47-43 in their recent league bout against Eau Claire (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC) in a AA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Warhorses go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 57-10 non-league loss to Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC).
