The Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC), 31-24 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles go into the 4A Central Piedmont test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Davie got by Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC), 58-47, in a league test.
The Storm now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dudley for a 3A Mid-State test on Friday, January 19. Southern Guilford will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-27 league win over Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.
