The Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), 40-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their test against North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ). The Patriots go into the Northwest Jersey - Freedom test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, North Warren Regional got by Passaic Arts & Science Charter (Passaic, NJ), 68-35, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hillside for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Johnson will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Science Park (Newark, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 2-8.
