The Hayward Hurricanes topped the visiting Osceola Chieftains basketball team by a final score of 40-31 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hurricanes face the Bloomer Blackhawks (Bloomer, WI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 16. Hayward will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
