With the victory, West Point improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 20-1. Pontotoc won 61-21 in their recent league test against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)

The Whippets now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Caledonia for a 4A Region 3 test on Tuesday, January 16. Kosciusko will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 61-27 league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, MS). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-4.
