New Mexico High School Basketball - Raton ripped by Laguna Acoma

The Laguna Acoma Hawks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Raton Tigers to 12 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zuni for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Laguna Acoma will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-5.
The Tigers (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Des Moines was routed by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 44-33, in a non-league contest.
