The War Eagles now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Central for a 5A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Wayne County will confront a Hornets team coming off a 41-37 league win over Gautier (Gautier, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 4-12.

The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, West Marion was nudged by St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS), 46-29, in a league battle.
