The University Lab Cubs tipped the host Northside Vikings basketball team by a final score of 49-48 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cubs face the Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 3A District 6 game, on Friday, January 19. University Lab will attempt to move on its 16-9 season record.

With the defeat, Northside moves to 9-11 on the year. The Vikings travel to Tioga (Tioga, LA) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, January 15. The Indians enter the game with a record of 18-5. Tioga won 47-12 in their recent league game against Peabody (Alexandria, LA)
