Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac Senior tipped by Our Lady of Mount Carmel

January 13, 2024: Dumfries, VA 22026

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars basketball team scored a tight 47-40 triumph over the Potomac Senior Panthers.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a IAAM A match, on Monday, January 15. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 50-30 league loss to Pallotti (Laurel, MD).

With the defeat, Potomac Senior moves to 7-6 on the year. The Panthers host Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA) to meet the Red Wolves in a Cardinal match on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Wolves enter the match with a record of 6-10. Gar-Field lost 55-12 in their recent league match against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA)
