The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was nudged 61-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Princeton Vikings (Cincinnati, OH)
The Vikings now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magnificat for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 14. Princeton will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 65-36 non-league win over Rocky River (Rocky River, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-3.
The (84-301) will now prepare for their battle against South Gallia (Crown City, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, South Gallia edged Western (Latham, OH), 58-6, in a league battle.
