Alabama High School Basketball - Providence Christian overwhelmed by Saint James

The Saint James Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Providence Christian Eagles to 29 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Presbyterian for a 3A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Saint James will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 82-22 league win over Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-4.
The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Houston Academy (Dothan, AL). The Raiders come into the 3A Area 3 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Houston Academy was routed by Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL), 41-39, in a league contest.
