Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines (Eveleth, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN), 84-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN) to clash with the Hawks in a AAA Section 7 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Hermantown won 72-40 in their recent non-league bout against Crookston (Crookston, MN)

Next up, the Prowlers clash with the Grafton Spoilers (Grafton, ND) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Thief River Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
