South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN), 75-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Knox upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN) to play the Vikings in a Blue Chip bout on Thursday, January 18. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 9-10. Barr-Reeve won 40-19 in their recent league bout against Shoals (Shoals, IN)

Next up, the Alices play the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) in a Southern Indiana bout, on Thursday, January 18. Vincennes Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 66-58 league loss to Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN).
