California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln Trojans (Stockton, CA), 47-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, California upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Grizzlies host Granada (Livermore, CA) to clash with the Matadors in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 3-14.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Stagg Delta Kings (Stockton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Delta Kings go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 37-29 league win over Bear Creek (Stockton, CA).
