Next, the Mustangs confront the Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Magnolia West will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX).

The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Memorial for a 6A Region 3 District 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 23.
