Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) in a Grossmont Hills challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Granite Hills will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Santana (Santee, CA).

The Norsemen now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Miguel for a Grossmont Valley challenge on Thursday, January 18.
