In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Wylie Pirates soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the McKinney North Bulldogs.
The Pirates (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Garland (Garland, TX). The Titans go into the 6A Region 2 District 9 battle with a 1-0 record.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Paris (Paris, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Paris was nudged by Memorial (Frisco, TX), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
