Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Victoria West Warriors (Victoria, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the WILDCATS confront the Stevens Falcons (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sotomayor will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tivy (Kerrville, TX).

The Warriors now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23.
