Washington High School Basketball - Asotin can't hold off Davenport

The Davenport Gorillas basketball team scored 31 points and held the host Asotin Panthers to 26 in the Gorillas non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Gorillas now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Davenport will battle a Broncos team coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Broncos record now stands at 10-7.
The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkston (Clarkston, WA). The Bantams enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record.
