Lennard Longhorns (Ruskin, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bloomingdale Bulls (Valrico, FL), 51-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lennard upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Tampa Bay Tech lost 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against Wharton (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Bulls play the Manatee Hurricanes (Bradenton, FL) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Bloomingdale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 73-60 non-league loss to Sarasota (Sarasota, FL).
