The Lennard Longhorns basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Newsome Wolves to 47 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Longhorns now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bloomingdale for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Lennard will meet a Bulls team coming off a 50-29 non-league win over Spoto (Riverview, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 6-3.
The Wolves (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against King (Tampa, FL). The Lions enter the contest with a 0-4 record.
