In Monday's league contest, the host Agape Christian Knights basketball team scored a big 69-38 triumph over the Shawnee Redskins.
The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elverado (Elkville, IL). The Falcons go into the South Egyptian contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Elverado was trounced by Cobden (Cobden, IL), 56-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Redskins confront the Cobden Appleknockers (Cobden, IL) in a South Egyptian contest, on Thursday, January 16. Shawnee will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Appleknockers go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 56-46 league win over Elverado (Elkville, IL).
