Iowa High School Basketball - West Marshall holds off Carlisle

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting West Marshall Trojans basketball team scored a close 42-40 triumph over the Carlisle Wildcats.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the Heart of Iowa - Large contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Prairie City-Monroe was tipped by Earlham (Earlham, IA), 62-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA) in a Raccoon River contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Carlisle will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 77-59 league win over Boone (Boone, IA).
