Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Conemaugh Township thwarts River Valley

January 13, 2025: Blairsville, PA 15717

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) and the host River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA), observed Conemaugh Township's basketball team knock off River Valley by a score of 59-51.

The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Comets come into the Heritage challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Penns Manor prevailed over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 74-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 79-58 league win over Homer-Center (Homer City, PA).
